That is an infrastructure problem, not a model problem, and it is not solved by switching vendors.
Tool versus agent
A tool waits to be used. Someone opens it, provides context, gets output, closes it. The value is bounded by how often someone remembers to use it.
An agent holds context persistently, operates inside your systems, and applies a specific body of judgment without being re-briefed each time.
The difference is not sophistication. It is whether the knowledge lives in the system or in the person operating it.
Why this is defensible
Anyone can subscribe to the same model you use. Nobody else has your institutional judgment structured and deployed inside your perimeter.
That is the part competitors cannot buy.
